Return to the world I have spend 120 euro's finding good games to replace world of warcraft when I stopped playing that. The world had started to annoy me. Its people seem to be vindictive idiots who can't egt along, moronic 12 year olds or obsessive level 80's who severely berate you for not having the right jem locked in your epic equipment. I was glad to be gone. Then, I came across dawn of war 2. It was awesome. I played it for 4 hours straight and then decided to play co-op with someone else. We immediately realised something as illustrated from this screenshot.
It proved to be a fatal mistake. Green items, white items, DPS, armor ratings. Holy cow, this game looked a lot like world of warcraft. The conversation we had lasted for less then a minute and went something like this:
Damn dude, this is a lot like WoW. Yeah... wanna go play that again? Yeah sure.
And before either of us realised what we were doing we had once installed world of warcraft and had invited friends to form a party. A total relapse. Complete disaster. Jezus fucking Christ, you'd think that after 2 years we could get a less addictive hobby then this damn game. Like snorting cocaine or sniffing paint. Probably cheaper too.
Anyway, the only problem was that I don't have a lot of freetime. I can't deal with to much free time. If I have it, I get depressed and go look for stuff to do. Its the reason I have a nearly fulltime job and combine a master study with it, paint 4 warhammer armies at the same time while watching whole seasons of Stargate atlantis. And yet, I seem to have free time left. I needed to find a timeslot to play some world of warcraft with my friends and to find that I needed to take a look at:
Monday: 8 hours of school, 6 hours of sleep, 2 hours of sports, 1 hour of obligatory social actitivity, 3 hours of school preperations and study, 4 hours of warhammer painting and movies. Tuesday: 9 hours of school, 6 hours of sleep, 3 hours of poker and beer, 1 hour of obligatory social actitivity,3 hours of school preparations. (yeah right, alcoholic preperations hur hur) Wednesday: 9 hours of school, 6 hours of sleep, 1 hour of obligatory social actitivity,3 hours of school preparations, 5 hours of warhammer playing and painting. Thursday: 9 hours of school, 6 hours of sleep, 1 hour of obligatory social actitivity,3 hours of school preparations, 2 hours of sport, 3 hours of warhammer painting and movies. (formerly drunk time) Friday: 9 hours of school, 6 hours of sleep, 1 hour of obligatory social actitivity,3 hours of school preparations, remainder of time spend drunk. (this may cut back the sleep time) Saturday: 2 hours of sport, 6 hours of warhammer playing and painting, 1 hour of obligatory social actitivity, rest of time either spend drunk or getting drunk. Probably some sleeping invovled somewhere. Sunday: The lord has commanded this day be spend in rest recovering from alcohol and who am I to not obey this very specific part of Catholicism? (The rest can suck it though)
Bam! A whole 3 hours on tuesday that are not yet filled up. Luckily all my party agreed with it and we set to go. A new world of warcraft adventure. I was set to be the tank and since I'm grossly imcompetent at anything but mindless shooting I imagine my tanking will look something like this:
Yes, its going to be epic.
World of warcraft still sucks and I'm back to it!
